It snowed for much of the day after an overnight dump and again the wind prevented the Access Chair from going. So a few people got some turns by riding from the top of the new beginner dry slope down the steps from the Access Chair, round the cafe, down the carpark and on down to Black Rock Cottage.
After 10days of storms the weather looks like it will finally settle down for the weekend. There is however a lot of storm recovery and preparation work required, very high winds prevented any on mountain work on Thursday and it's still forecast to be pretty blowy on Friday - so check late tomorrow for the latest news on what's what at the weekend.
There should be some fantastic riding to be had and Summit to moor should be doable giving 2400ft of vertical descent.
