Can still ski off the Access Chair onto the Poma and from the Poma to the middle lifts via Mugs Alley. Short walk required at end of day.

Those determined not to download the Access Chair on the last snow on the Blue Access Run just below 1800ft.

This is why they call it the Spring Run!

Lovely creamy spring snow on the low level Blue Access Run, top of the Flypaper and East Ridge beyond.

Looking down the West side of the Flypaper Bowl - great steep spring snow.

Ski School on the Spring Run, small bumps beginning to take shape.

Thrombosis is a good short steep run to try out for those happy on the blues like the Main Basin.

Mugs Alley and the Bunny Run provide some green terrain off the Cliffhanger Chair.

This is in the middle of the Haggis Trap - still absolutely flat across.

Wide and deep for the full length of the Main Basin, lay out some big carves on spring snow corduroy in the morning!

A loaded Canyon and run out under the Cliffhanger Chairlift.

Large kickers under construction in the Main Basin, will be shaped up on Friday.

Can still ski off the Plateau Poma and ride to the middle lifts.

The Sun came out to play again and with high pressure firmly in charge of the weather it's looking like a fantastic Friday and weekend of spring riding to come on the slopes of Meall a' Bhuiridh.

The natural snow fields and gullies that form the bulk of the mid and upper mountain runs retain a great cover, the Main Basin and Spring Run are in super shape and there's endless different lines to take in and around the bowl of the Flypaper for advanced skiers and boarders.

A bank of large kickers are being built between Happy Valley and the Main Basin and should be ready for Saturday, some rail features will also be put in here. Happy Valley is good at the top and bottom, but you now need to switch into the Main Basin to avoid the narrows which is broken.

Mid mountain Thrombosis and the Canyon have a huge depth of snow still, the Wall is also in good shape. Easier terrain is available off the Cliffhanger with Mugs Alley and the Bunny Run.

Plateau Poma uptrack is still complete and you can ski off the Access Chair over to the Poma. But the Plateau runs are broken, so a short walk down the path is required at the end of the day. Alternatively some were heading out round the side of the Plateau to the low level Blue Access Run which can still be skied to about 1800ft, with a bit of heather hoping. The walk is around 8-10minutes now though the bike track makes it relatively easy.
