Overhead wasn't as bad as feared on Tuesday, indeed there were some brighter spells mixed in with bits of mist and drizzle. Soft fresh snow on the Main Basin was giving good turns and really enjoyable. Though the ride up the T-bar became increasingly less enjoyable through the afternoon as the SW wind climbed, causing an early end to the day.
Snow was slower and stickier on the Plateau, but actually improved coming down below the Access Chair. The Red fenced Access Run is 3/4 in good condition, a couple of narrow bits but easily passable on Tuesday to the top of the Carpark. H
Hopefully the bulk of the snow below the top of the Access Chair will be OK tonight, as temperature set to fall through the early hours of Wed - having a consolidated base with fresh snow falling is always a real bonus at such a low level.

Snow, possibly fairly persistent and heavy forecast for Wednesday along with gales. Blizzard conditions at times and significant snow totals expected by end of Thursday. Both Thursday and Friday might have not to bad winds - one to watch!
