Recent fresh snow is all on Eastern aspects such as the Jean's Bowl side of the Fiacaill Ridge.
Mountain is very wind scoured away from fences and East aspects. Zig Zags good, Gunbarrel loaded but M1 not complete.
White Lady was great on Wednesday though not that wide, hardpacked after thaw/freeze Wed night.
Cas Gunbarrel is well filled and flat and easy going.
Well loaded Gunbarrel, Upper Cas is wide too.
Picking a route down the Fiacaill Ridge Poma to get the longest line down through Jean's Bowl.

Report
Wednesday started fine with plenty of blue sky and fairly light winds, a brief weather window to take advantage of the recent snow fall after several days of storms.
CairnGorm has been absolutely blasted by Storm Force W - SW winds, Western aspects have been scoured clear with snow very heavily focussed in the suitably aligned gullies such as the Cas Run and Gunbarrel and Eastern aspects such as the Fiacaill Ridge and over in the Ciste, the Aonach and West Wall. However the upper mountain didn't open on Wednesday, storm recovery work didn't progress that far and a stormy end to the week is likely to prevent the upper mountain opening.
