Busy accommodation this evening, but quiet on the mountain with no queues and some pretty nice riding.
Taking heather hopping to a whole new height....
A lot of snow was moved around to get Mugs Alley complete after the Christmas Eve storm scoured it.
Mugs Alley is narrow but easily passable, widens out onto the steeper corner section.
Skiers at the top of the Wall late in the afternoon, it was in good shape and seemed to be the pick in terms of popularity.
Base of the Cliffy area has good cover with the river at the bottom of Mugs Alley well filled in.
Looking up the Wall Crossover, take care crossing the T-bar, bit of a drop as not much depth yet on the uptrack.
The Canyon was great fun, it's steeply banked out on the Western side, but nice steep turns on fresh snow on a grippy reliable base.
Looking through the Cliffhanger Chair to the Plateau Poma. Plateau runs are narrow and thin in bits, but easily passable.
Top of the Cliffhanger Chair and the SSC Hut.
The Wall T-bar and Wall behind, good fun to be had on the Wall all afternoon.
Looking down Mugs Alley to the base of the middle lifts.
Corner of Mugs Alley from the top of the Plateau Poma.
Plenty of snow at the top of the Access to ski off chair and onto the Poma.
Winchcat listing the Plateau Run.
Lots of sightseers and families up to play in the snow and sledge around the Plateau Cafe.

Report
The Wall T-bar made it's season debut around lunchtime on Saturday and the mountain operations team moved up to work on the Main Basin T-bar and it's uptrack.
The weather cleared up after some overnight snow showers gave a light covering of new snow to be mostly blue skies above Meall a' Bhuiridh. The forecast is set fair for the next 2-3days, so whatever other holiday plans you had, they can wait - get up and take advantage of the light winds and good overhead before the weather turns mid-week.
You can ski off the Access Chair and onto the Plateau Poma and it's uptrack is fairly easy as it's pretty well filled. The Plateau Runs though are quite thin and narrow in bits but easily passable.
The main natural snowfields on the mid mountain have a good base and the Canyon and Thrombosis were seeing action, the Wall however was the pick of the middle runs with a good covering of fresh snow.
The plan is open the Plateau Poma, the Wall T-bar and Cliffhanger Chair from the start on Sunday, with the expectation that the Main Basin T-bar will open around lunchtime. Check reports in the morning for updates.
