A few photos from around Glencoe on Friday, check out the Pix from earlier in the week to see more of the mountain. Monday 4th May is last day of daily snowsports operations, so get up and play while you can.
All the upper runs were open on Friday except Etive Glades, bit of a crust first thing in the morning but when it loosened up the Flypaper and East Ridge were fabulous for advanced skiers and boarders. The Main Basin was groomed out to a massive width on Friday morning, ideal for laying out some big carves.
Mid mountain all runs are open, though Mugs Alley is very thin/narrow below the corner for a couple of hundred yards - that can be avoided by the well pisted route through the Bunny Run and High Road. Thrombosis, Wall, Wall Crossover and Canyon remain completely loaded.
Plateau Poma is running for access, the cover is patchy on the Plateau runs, but still just about passable for getting back to the Access Chair at the end of the day. Please don't ski / ride or walk down the Poma uptrack as that will shorten it's life.
