Tracked up fresh on a Spring Snow base on the Wall.

At the top of the Spring Run, showers all around but not overhead until later afternoon.

The Main Basin was fantastic on the groomer, packed powdery corduroy to start and big smiles all round.

The top right corner is what usually get's skied, a lot more if you're prepared do some leg work! You can ski from here to 1500ft!

Looking over the middle mountain to Cliffhanger Chair and the Wall from to of Plateau Poma.

Spring Run had icy patches at the top, improving further down but not a patch on the Main Basin today.

Tracks on the East Ridge - you can go far lower in return for some leg work with spring snow under the fresh further down.

Skier on Mugs Alley, all options still link together and to the Cliffy and Cafe.

A shower cell way out over the moor, they kept missing until around 3pm.

Face of the Flypaper Bowl tracked out late morning.

Skiers on Thrombosis, no sign of the gully!

Tracks a bit further out/down the East Ridge. With skins you could get a massive run off the top of here!

Snow showers overnight put down a couple of inches of fresh snow with a little drifting places, these cleared to give a dry middle part of the day with good Sunny Spells on Meall a' Bhuiridh but you could see the shower cells all around.

Around 3pm a beefy shower came through and there is a peppering of showers upwind on the Rain Radar that look like they'll come through both Nevis Range and Glencoe this afternoon into the evening. Showers are expected to clear to give a fine and largely bright and Sunny Wednesday so it is looking like another mid-week cracker.

Most of the runs on the mountain are open, with the main natural snowfields and gullies retaining a great base on the mid and upper mountain. Plateau Run is narrow in places, but easy skiing on granular snow.

Pick of the day was the Main Basin, could crank it up and layout big turns. Wall was great but got a wee bit choppy later on and the Spring Run was a bit hard up top but improved once in. Flypaper and East Ridge seeing action too for experts.

Snow cover extends far below what is usually skied off the lifts on the East Ridge and by 2700ft the base is more granular snow. If you have skins or are prepared to hike, a huge run is possible off the East Ridge. If you don't want to walk back up, you can still get more than usual by holding a traverse onto the side of the Plateau and following the obvious snow bank round which takes you onto a bit of the XC skate track loop, before dropping down to the East of the Blue Access Run. When you run out of snow traverse round and pick up the Red Bike Track, in total about 10mins walk downhill required (5 if you come down the Blue Access Run).
