The Traverse remains loaded, wide and deep.

White Lady is providing good sport for advanced riders.

The Top Basin took a bit of a battering overnight.

The Cas Gunbarrel is in good shape.

Report
It was a bright, windy and mild day on CairnGorm, but there was little further thawing of snow during daylight hours in drier air and gradually less strong winds.

There was good skiing to be had on the Lady, Traverse, Cas, 105, Fiacaill, Gunbarrel. Runs became sugary as they were skied. There were even small bumps forming on the entry to the Lady beside the M1 poma.

Ptarmigan Bowl seems to have suffered most in the overnight thaw, but with the snow at the top crunching up and drying out during the afternoon it was hoped the machines could tidy the Top Basin up for Friday, if wind permits higher lifts to run.

It is still possible to combat ski most of the Carpark Run with some walking required on Burnside, or at the end of the day you could save your pride and take the Funicular! Please don't descend by the Ridge uptrack when the Poma is running!
