The wind finally abated allowing play to resume at Nevis Range with the full on mountain vertical on offer with good runs to the Top of the Gondola and base of the Quad via the Fairway and Allt Sneachda.
With wind gusts of 111mph on the Gondola Line the mountain has had a bit of a blasting, particularly in the Back Corries. On the front of the mountain the groomers are mostly coming up with lovely surface conditions with machine packed powder.
Summit Runs are all in good shape, but the top of the Goose has been badly scoured and was closed on Tuesday. Good riding though via Sidewinder, Cat-track and Easy Rider with options to traverse over onto the lower part of the Goose.
Traverses between Alpha and the Goose are loaded and the Alpha and Yockies are giving nice sport for early intermediates. The Linnhe is fully complete with a machine made base with some windblown snow on top.
Snow showers gradually topping things up through the day and some sunny spells as well. Summit Webcams are now back online.
