A small selection of photos from a beautiful autumn afternoon on CairnGorm Mountain.
Some photos show new fencing which is a work in progress on the Ciste Tow, Ptarmigan Bowl, Traverse, upper 105 and parts of the Home Road.
The Ptarmigan Tow webcam was put on today, but experiencing a few hiccups with the Vodafone GPRS service due to network congestion - also affecting the SSC cams intermittently. Will be monitored during the holiday period to see how it holds up, other connection options are being considered.
It's looking like more unsettled weather coming up, will we see some snow on the tops in the next week, it's possible, so keep an eye on the webcams and also the rest of Winterhighland.
