Report
A selection of photos from Helen, there are lots more in the Public Reports along with full report on conditions.
Only the Funicular is scheduled for Friday providing uplift for the White Lady for advanced riders and the Traverse and Coire Cas and Zig Zags for early intermediates upwards. The top 3 legs of the Zig Zags are complete and in good shape, the 4th leg is fine to the Fiacaill Pumphouse, but approx. 75m walk required to regain the Funicular.
The routes via the Gunbarrel and White Lady are complete the whole way and you can ski right into the middle platform area.
There is snow making ongoing tonight in the Ptarmigan Bowl and the piste bashers will continue to move snow around the Top Basin on Friday. The Ptarmigan Tow is expected to re-open on Saturday and the weekend forecast is benign with light winds and a chance of a few snow showers, with brighter or sunny spells.
