A bluebird Saturday morning, but cloud increased in the afternoon (there's been a light covering of fresh snow since).
Meall a' Bhuiridh is looking stunning and all the on mountain runs from the top of the Access Chair up have superb coverage so there is extensive options for all.
On the upper mountain the Rock Garden, Main Basin and Happy Valley are largely one white expanse. Similar mid-mountain where the named trails are almost meaningless in places with the extensive cover.
Some softening late last week and a return to cooler temperatures, plus the long settled spell mean the snow has gradually getting more packed, but is grooming up nicely. Bumps have been starting to build on the Spring Run.
All Plateau level runs also in good shape and there is excellent cover around the Plateau Rope Tow area for novices. Photos by Oldagedpredator and What Snow. More in the Public Reports.
