There is fantastic cover on all the runs with great riding back down to the top of the Access Chair giving the full on mountain vertical of 1400ft.
With all runs having an excellent base there is plenty on offer for all ability levels and there's been extensive pisting to keep the recent layer of fresh powdery snow uniform and in great shape.
The Main Basin and Happy Valley have been getting groomed out to between 6 and 10 machine widths, generally a great surface with just one or two hard patches showing through on the Spring Run and Main Basin but once you know where these are you can easily avoid them. The Spring Run was also pisted on Wednesday.
For unpisted fresh the Rock Garden to skiers right of the Top Button has been the pick recently as it's been catching the most fresh snow as it's been in the lee of the East / NE wind that's brought the snow in.
Mid mountain and Plateau Runs also all in great shape with great machine groomed surface conditions on all the options on Mugs Alley.
Snow is expected to develop through Thursday afternoon, with bands of snow coming in overnight into Friday morning so there could be around 6 to 8 inches of fresh to come if the NMM model has this right.
It's looking like a fabulous weekend and the Coe Cup should provide some spectacular action to watch from below the Flypaper - it's like a giant amphitheatre in reverse.
