A bit less drama to start the day than on CairnGorm, but probably more people as a result to enjoy a fantastic day across the whole of Glenshee's 3 valleys and 4 Munros, with the Glas Maol Poma making it's season debut.
There is superb riding on offer for all ability levels with machine packed powder on the groomers throughout the area. The beginner area at the Dink Dink and Rope Tow has excellent cover and Claybokie is in great shape for progressing.
The Western aspects of Sunnyside and Meall Odhar, plus Glas Maol are absolutely loaded. Once Glas Maol opened and everyone had got over was as if often the case the time to hit Meall Odhar and take advantage of the varied and fantastic natural terrain this to often overlooked part of the area has to offer in terms of both blue and red runs and various off-piste lines.
